    Large, cheap, could be faster.

I got it for free so I'm very happy with it really but reviewing it from a technical viewpoint... It has massive dips and rises in transfer speed as the cache fills or it gets hot and throttles, not sure which. It also comes formatted FAT32 out of the box which means it can't hold files larger then 4GB which is silly for a 512GB drive. Obviously it's trivial to reformat it to exFAT but might be a problem for the less technically inclined. If ExtremePC reads this I might suggest you mention this to people when they buy/give them a little sheet of instructions on how to reformat it. But it's high capacity, compact and the metal body seems well made. If you're just after a large volume of storage in a compact format and not worried about speed then it's great!
